Math Camp
Grades 2-6
Summer
Virtual and/or In-Person
Have fun playing math games with friends while working to solidify grade level concepts!
1 or 2 weeks, fully customizable and suitable for groups of 2-4 students all in the same grade level. Camps are one hour each day for either 3 or 4 days per week, your choice.

I am pleased to be able to offer a math camp each summer. Math camp is fully customizable and is a bit different than tutoring services. With math camp, there is no official assessment, it's not as long-term either. Math camp can be used in conjunction with tutoring or stand alone. And because it's short term, the goal is about maintaining and building on grade level skills in a fun format!
* some technology requirements are needed for virtual format- see below!

Math Camp Rates
$160 per day per group, to be paid at time of registration. This is split evenly between 2 to 4 campers.
*15% discount when registered and paid in full by mid May.

Location
Math Camp works well via Zoom; this is NOTHING like remote school, trust me! Camps can also be run outdoors at my home in Louisville. However, I am not a licensed child care facility and, as such, at least one parent must remain on-site. You can lounge, sit back and relax in a rocking chair on my porch or in the backyard while the kids and I have math fun.
More Details
Minimum commitment of 2 weeks including 6 or 8 total sessions (you choose 3 or 4 days per each week)
You establish your group of 2 to 4 campers and choose a point person. That is the person responsible for registering and for paying. This person can, then, collect payment from the others.
To register, download and fill out the registration form for each camper . Then, email those to Amy at amy.scheff@colorado.edu and arrange payment. Payment is due within 24 hours fo sending forms to hold your dates.
Pay one price for your whole group. You can split the cost between yourselves. ($160 x total # of camp days)
If you live locally, materials will be available for pick up in Louisville, CO 2 days prior to the start of camp. If not, we'll make a plan.
Technology needs -
*to run this as a virtual camp for 3 or 4 person camp, students must know how to screen share within Zoom prior to the camp starting.
Laptops and/or Ipads work best. Chromebooks do not work for camp as they do not allow for the annotate function within Zoom. Students must know how to screen share within Zoom from your google drive folder or another folder where you save camp game files in order to fully participate. These files will be shared with you prior to camp. **If students do not have this ability, this camp must be run as a 2 person camp so that we do not have to use the breakout room feature and Amy can do the screen sharing.
